Hailey and I watched some friends in the ward for two days. Hailey had
tons of fun playing with Dom (who is three) and Audi (who is just a
month younger than Hailey). We had tons of fun playing games, eating
snacks, and playing outside. Whenever I would pick Audi up, Hailey
would put her hands out and ask to hold the baby!

Conference weekend, we were excited that we could watch conference on TV instead of on the computer or at the church. Hailey did really well and loved sitting next to mom and dad with her notebook, pencils, and stickers (which she put on everything!!) She learned to identify sheep and llamas drawn by Trey and I. She took a nap during Saturday afternoon in her bed. Sunday morning she was wide awake and bushy tailed ready to drive us crazy. By Sunday afternoon, she was ready for a nap.

Last week, Trey was out with the missionaries on Monday evening so Hailey and I decided to decorate cupcakes for Family Home Evening dessert. Hailey still felt the same way she did on her birthday about the cake part of the cupcake, however, the she has now discovered frosting!

Hailey has finally figured out her nap and night time routines. When she is tired or ready for nap, she will grab her cuddle bear, blanket and get in the rocking chair to read stories.

Hailey loves to read stories! She has a few favorite books! She also loves to go to the library for new books. She also has a new bed! She was not sleeping well in her crib so we decided to try an experiment. We took her mattress and put it on the floor. She occasionally gets out of bed however, she is sleeping much better and so are we!! She loves her new bed and loves reading books in bed!

Hailey loves getting packages! This week she got a package from Ouma, Oupa, and the Uncles. She got a new basket and gourds. She loves putting the gourds in the basket and taking them out. We had to establish a "no throwing gourds" rule! She also loves sitting in the basket.

This weekend, we went to Boo at the Zoo. It was tons of fun and Hailey loved it. She was super cute! She insisted on carrying her own bag. Then when she got candy she would nod her head and say "DiDo" (Thank You) She occasionally got a little nervous about some of the costumes and masks people were wearing (much like her mom) but lucky for us we had The Man in the Yellow Hat to protect us from the scary monsters! She was sad that it was too dark to see any animals except the Llamas. She knew what each enclosure had in it. She had to say good night to the rhino, elephants, giraffes, birds, llamas, and flamingos. Then she came home and crashed!
