Updates

So it has been while since we have posted something new on our blog. So we will give you an update. Emily and Hailey love the stretch from Rexburg to Logan because they have traveled that piece of highway three times this past week.
The first time was for memorial day weekend when we down for a baby shower in Logan. Hailey got some really cute outfits, blankets, and toys. She got diapers as well which are a plus always.
Our trip to Logan was full and a lot of fun. We spent a couple of days with the Micks and then we spent some time with the Johnsons as well. On Friday it was a mad house trying to get things cleaned up for the baby shower and get things prepared. We were cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, changing laundry, and just enjoying each others company. Nana Nin was up in Logan which was an added bonus. It is always good to see her and be around her. Saturday was the baby shower and we just want to thank all that were able to come and for the gifts you brought. They are a ton of fun and we will have fun using them.
Sunday, Emily and I were up and down all night with Hailey and so we opted out of 8:30 church to go to 1:00 church with Grandmother Catherine and GK. It was nice to have the option of which church to go to. Then we went back to Grandmother Catherine and GK's house and enjoyed talking, laughing, and just chilling.
On Monday, a disaster hit the Oma and Opa's house. Parts of their basement flooded. So we spent most of the morning tearing up carpet and pad and getting the water out. I spent a little time in the window wells because there was about 6 inches of standing water. So with my bucket in hand, I drained the window well. Then we went back over to Grandmother Catherine's house to help unload a Uhaul truck full of stuff from her dad's house. Then we quickly grabbed some food and then back to Rexburg we came. What an exhausting Memorial day weekend.
Emily and Hailey thought it would be fun to make a day trip back to Logan that Wednesday so that they could see Kipper graduate. Then this weekend the girls headed back down again to Logan again for a bridal shower. Hence the Love for the stretch of Highway from Rexburg to Logan.
Hailey is doing really well. She is healthy and is growing big.
Pictures will be up shortly. I just need to get them. Hope you enjoyed this update... More to come.
