The new born child

Hailey Marie Johnson was born May 10, 2011 at 10:15 am. She weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 20 inches long. After 12 hours of labor and a sleeping pill for Emily, Hailey finally came. We have been enjoying having her in our lives and she has been a great kid so far. Between napping, feeding and diaper changes she has been enjoyable. She had a little difficulty coming due to having the umbilical wrapped around her shoulders so she would progress, but then get launched back up. She was bungee jumping and was not quite sure she really wanted to come. Mom and baby are doing great. She is a real blessing in our life and we are looking forward to the adventures that are coming.
